Shipping Policy

General Domestic Shipping

All Domestic Canada orders are shipped from Ottawa. Items are shipped via Courier, Curbside delivery or LTL partners.

  • 7% of order value (for orders under $2500)
  • Items shipped using LTL (less than a truckload) are considered too large for a small carrier to deliver and will instead be transported wrapped and protected on a skid.
  • If you have a commercial address to receive large shipments, our team can help you save on some shipping costs. Please contact hello@daladecor.com for more information.

Which items fall under Courier? These are typically small packaged items that a single driver and truck can manage, carry and deliver. Ex: FedEx, UPS, Canpar.

Domestic Delivery
We offer free delivery for orders over $2500 to any non-rural areas in Canada. Non-rural areas are defined as within 50kms of the closest city hall. Please allow the standard maximum lead time for your product/order to be delivered to you. Each product has a Standard Delivery Time, please reference product pages for more information. Kindly note, this complimentary service is for one scheduled delivery only. If your order has multiple items, they will be collectively held until all have arrived at our warehouse.

 

Domestic White Glove Delivery

We offer White Glove delivery for orders over $2500 to any non-rural areas in Canada. Please allow 2-5 weeks for your order to be delivered to you. Kindly note, this complimentary service is for one scheduled delivery only. If your order has multiple items, they will be collectively held until all have arrived at our warehouse.

 

Local Pickup

If you have selected to pick-up your order at our warehouse, our team will be in touch to notify when all items have been received at our warehouse. A time will be scheduled to ensure our team has your item(s) ready and will assist with loading product(s) into your vehicle. 


Local Shipping

Complimentary local shipping over $1000. Must be within 1.5 hours of Richmond warehouse.

 

Rural Delivery

If you are outside of the urban delivery area of 50 kms from the closest city hall, our customer service team will contact you to process payment for an additional $1 per kilometre of distance from the closest city hall to your location.
 

Freight Required

Some of our larger items are considered oversize and may be shipped with a freight carrier. Please note standard delivery is doorstep only. This means the delivery team does not enter the home or assemble the furniture. If you live in a building it would be brought into the lobby and no further. Most larger furniture pieces come fully assembled. Please ensure you are comfortable bringing it to its desired destination in your home or contact us to upgrade to White Glove Delivery.

International Shipping 

At this time we do not offer shipping outside of Canada. To arrange international delivery, we recommend using a freight forwarding company that will ship to your country. Please note customers are responsible for all import taxes, duties, carrier fees and customs declarations.

 

Custom Shipping Quotes

Please allow 2 business days for our team to gather all required information to accurately quote your delivery before confirming your order.  Custom shipping quote are dependant on size, weight, and location of delivery. Our team will be in touch to make any necessary arrangements required to ensure you receive your order.


Should you want to cancel your order upon receiving your shipping quote, kindly let our team know within 48 hours of receiving your quote. We will cancel and reimburse your order only at that time. 

 

Cancellations

Dala Decor reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for a product that is listed at an incorrect price or for any other reason. This shall be regardless of whether the order has been confirmed and/or payment been received. The 100% payment shall be refunded and the User shall be informed of the same. 

If a non-delivery or late delivery occurs due to a mistake by the customer (i.e. wrong or incomplete name or address or recipient not available or any other related reason) any extra cost spent by Dala Decor for re-delivery shall be claimed from the customer.
