Online Purchases General Domestic Shipping
All Domestic Canada Online orders  are shipped via Courier, Curbside delivery or LTL partners.
 

1. 7% of order value for online orders under $2,500.
2. Free Shipping on online orders over $2,500. Kindly note, commercial and custom projects do not qualify for free shipping over $2,500.
3. Items shipped using LTL (less than a truckload) are considered too large for a small carrier to deliver and will instead be transported wrapped and protected on a skid.
4. The courier is responsible for ensuring the delivery of the package.
5. The customer is responsible for ensuring the receipt of the package.

Which items fall under Courier?

These are typically small packaged items that a single driver and truck can manage, carry, and deliver. Ex: FedEx, UPS, Canpar.

Online Domestic Delivery
We offer free delivery for orders over $2,500 to any non-rural area in Canada. Non-rural areas are defined as within 50 km of the closest city hall. Please allow the standard maximum lead time for your product/order to be delivered to you. Each product has a Standard Delivery Time, please reference product pages for more information. Kindly note that this complimentary service is for one scheduled delivery only. If your order has multiple items, they will be collectively held until all items have arrived at our warehouse.

 

Online Domestic White Glove Delivery

We offer White Glove delivery at a flat rate fee of $250 to any non-rural areas in Canada. Please allow 3-6 weeks for your order to be delivered to you. Kindly note that this complimentary service is for one scheduled delivery only. If your order has multiple items, they will be collectively held until all items have arrived at our warehouse.

 

Local Pickup

If you have selected to pick up your order at our warehouse or showroom, our team will be in touch to notify you when all items have been received. A time will be scheduled to ensure our team has your item(s) ready and will assist with loading product(s) into your vehicle.

Complimentary local shipping for orders over $1,000. 

 

Local Ottawa Delivery Fees

Due to rising costs of fuel and logistics costs we charge a minimum local delivery cost. Any discounted orders require a mandatory delivery fee. From time to time Dala reserves the right to waive any delivery fees accordingly. 

• $75 for local drop off delivery. 
• $125 for standard White Glove Delivery of 1-2 items.
• $175 for standard White Glove Delivery of 3-5 items.
• $250 for standard White Glove Delivery of 5+
• Full Day project installations will be estimated and billed at a rate of $120 per hour.

 

Dala White Glove Delivery

Our team takes pride in executing our White Glove Deliveries for our valued clients. Our services include:

• Delivery of products
• Unboxing of products
• Assembly of products
• Placement of products
• Felt pad protection on any products touching the floor.
• Removal of all packaging and debris.

 

Local Rural Ottawa Delivery

If you reside beyond the urban delivery zone, which spans 50 km from the nearest city hall, our customer service team will get in touch with you to arrange payment for the entire trip at an extra cost of $1 per kilometre from the nearest city hall to your location and return trip. This charge will encompass the round trip to compensate for the additional mileage and travel time.

Outlet Shipping

Please note that our outlet products are gently used and no longer in their original packaging. As a result, they are only available for local pickup and delivery. However, if you are interested in having an outlet product shipped to you, please reach out to our team by phone or email and we will provide you with a shipping quote on a case-by-case basis. Kindly note that any additional shipping costs will be the responsibility of the client. 

 

Freight Required

Some of our larger items are considered oversized and may be shipped with a freight carrier. Please note standard delivery is doorstep only. This means the delivery team does not enter the home or assemble the furniture. If you live in a building it would be brought into the lobby and no further. Most larger furniture pieces come fully assembled. Please ensure you are comfortable bringing it to its desired destination in your home or contact us to upgrade to White Glove Delivery.

Our team will beat any advertised price for a product found online. Considering these discounted items, our standard shipping thresholds are ineffective, and additional costs may be incurred to get your product to your final destination.
