The furniture and decor available for purchase through our online store cannot be customized.
Are Dala Decor furniture pieces durable? Yes, furniture pieces from Dala Decor are made from durable materials. Working with over 100 suppliers and manufacturers quality can range. We want no issues with any of our products just as much as our clients do. Things do happen. All Dala products have a minimum warranty of 1 year up to a lifetime warranty for some. Are there any assembly requirements for Dala Decor furniture? Yes, we try to include assembly instructions for all furniture, however, some of our suppliers don't offer this for all of their products.

Additionally, Dala Decor offers a White Glove Delivery service for an additional fee to any non-rural areas in Canada. This service includes, delivery, assembly, placement in room of choice and removal of all debris. Fees will depend on the volume of the order. Are there any specific care instructions for wood furniture from Dala Decor? Caring for your handmade furniture is simple and can ensure a lifetime of enjoyment from your investment.

These are our Easy-care tips that will enhance and maintain your furniture:
  • In winter use a humidifier and control humidity from 40-45%
  • Absolutely avoid using solvents, water, hot or cold objects on the furniture for the first month while the finish cures. Damp cloths will do the trick.
  • Open the doors and drawers for 1 hour daily during the first month to ensure proper curing of the inside for storage cabinets, sideboards, desks, wardrobes and nightstands.
Tips for the daily use of your handmade furniture:
  • Avoid direct sunlight. Use drapes or blinds during the day.
  • Use padding under all rough china and hot or cold objects.
  • Store table leaves in close proximity to table or in the same humidity and avoid storing leaves in damp basements where the leaves may swell.
  • Dust often with a soft cloth, following the grain pattern of the wood.
  • For cleaning, you may use a damp cloth. Dry immediately with a soft cloth and buff lightly, following the grain.
  • Do not wax or use any polish like pledge or anything containing silicon.
  • Do not scrape or drag dishes across the lacquer.

How long does it take to receive my Dala Decor furniture after ordering? The expected delivery time ranges from in-stock & ready to ship to 12+ weeks (for custom pieces). All of the product pages on our website provide an expected delivery time per item.

Does Dala Decor offer international shipping? At this time we do not offer shipping outside of Canada and the United States. To arrange international delivery, we recommend using a freight forwarding company that will ship to your country. Please note customers are responsible for all import taxes, duties, carrier fees and customs declarations.

If you live in the United States, please contact us at hello@daladecor.com and we will arrange to have your products shipped to your location. Kindly note there will be supplementary costs incurred.

If you are outside of the urban delivery area of 50 kms from the closest city hall, our customer service team will contact you to process payment for an additional $1 per kilometre of distance from the closest city hall to your location.

Warranty & Repair
Does Dala Decor offer a warranty on their furniture? Dala Luxe products all come with a 2 year manufacturer's warranty. Our warranty covers any confirmed imperfections in manufacturing or craftsmanship for up to two years, beginning the day your order arrives at your home. Our warranty is non-transferable, and does not extend to resale, second-hand, final sale, or floor model pieces. It also does not apply to products that are used for commercial purposes, unless those products are listed as commercial-grade.

Dala honors all manufactuers warranties.The warranty for all other furniture and decor is provided by our manufacturers and varies for each product.
