Shipping Policy

General Domestic Shipping

All Domestic Canada orders are shipped from Ottawa or Toronto. Items are shipped via Courier or LTL partners. 

  • Freight charges are 7% of order value (for orders under $2500)

Domestic Delivery
We offer free delivery for orders over $2500 to any non-rural areas in Canada. Please allow the standard minimum lead time for your product/order to be delivered to you. Kindly note, this complimentary service is for one scheduled delivery only. If your order has multiple items, they will be collectively held until all have arrived at our warehouse.

 

Domestic White Glove Delivery

We offer White Glove delivery for an additional fee to any non-rural areas in Canada. This service includes, delivery, assembly, placement in room of choice and removal of all debris. Fees will depend on the volume of the order. Please contact customer service here to discuss WG Delivery options for you.

 

 Local Pickup

If you have selected to pick-up your order at a fulfilment centre, our team will be in touch to notify when all items have been received at our warehouse. A time will be scheduled to ensure our team has your item(s) ready and will assist with loading product(s) into your vehicle. 

 

Local Shipping

Complimentary local shipping over $1000. Must be within 1.5 hours of fulfillment centre.

 

Rural Delivery

If you are outside of the urban delivery area of 50kms from the closest city hall, our customer service team will provide a formal quote with delivery options to your location. Any additional distance to the closest city hall will be billed at $1 per km.

 

Freight Required

Some of our larger items are considered oversize and may be shipped with a freight carrier. Please note standard delivery is doorstep only. This means the delivery team does not enter the home or assemble the furniture. If you live in a building it would be brought into the lobby and no further. Most larger furniture pieces come fully assembled. Please ensure you are comfortable bringing it to its desired destination in your home or contact us to upgrade to White Glove Delivery.

International Shipping 

At this time we do not offer shipping outside of the US and Canada. To arrange international delivery, we recommend using a freight forwarding company that will ship to your country. Please note customers are responsible for all import taxes, duties, carrier fees and customs declarations.

 

US Shipping
Our team will be in touch to make necessary arrangements based on your location and requirements.

For shipments delivered outside Canada, the customer’s state may charge an OCTROI Duty on the top of the price of the item. These charges are beyond our control and can’t be reimbursed.

Furthermore, for all orders over $2500, you SIN will be required at the time of any duties and tariffs collection. 

 

Custom Shipping Quotes

Please allow 2 business days for our team to gather all required information to accurately quote your delivery before confirming your order.  Custom shipping quote are dependant on size, weight, and location of delivery. Our team will be in touch to make any necessary arrangements required to ensure you receive your order.

Should you want to cancel your order upon receiving your shipping quote, kindly let our team know within 48 hours of receiving your quote. We will cancel and reimburse your order only at that time. 

 

Cancellations

Dala Decor reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for a product that is listed at an incorrect price or for any other reason. This shall be regardless of whether the order has been confirmed and/or payment been received. The 100% payment shall be refunded and the User shall be informed of the same. 
 If a non-delivery or late delivery occurs due to a mistake by the User (i.e. wrong or incomplete name or address or recipient not available or any other related reason) any extra cost spent by Dala Decor for re-delivery shall be claimed from the User.
